Interreligious Dialogue and Education: A Concrete Expression of the WOS-IPSP Commitment

The World Organization of States – International Parliament for Safety and Peace (WOS-IPSP) continues to promote interreligious dialogue and cooperation as fundamental instruments for conflict prevention and for the construction of societies founded on mutual respect.
Within this framework, the activity of the Councillor for Cooperation, Marco Baragli, Priest of the Anglican Christian Church, is particularly noteworthy for his commitment to initiatives that foster dialogue among different religious traditions, with special attention to the educational sphere. The meeting held at the Piccolomini Institute in Siena, which brought together a rabbi, an imam, and representatives of various Christian denominations, stands as a meaningful example of how education can become a space for knowledge, listening, and shared responsibility.
The recognition of experiences of this nature is fully consistent with the institutional approach promoted by the General Secretariat of WOS-IPSP, under the leadership of Ambassador at Large Alfredo Maiolese, aimed at supporting individuals capable of translating the values of cooperation and coexistence into concrete and tangible actions.
Through the contribution of its Councillors for Cooperation, WOS-IPSP reaffirms its role as an institutional platform open to dialogue among cultures, religions, and civil society, grounded in the conviction that peace is also built through education and encounter.
