BRUXELLES, BELGIUM

The Secretary General of the International Parliament for Security and Peace, Alfredo Maiolese, sees auspiciousness in the willingness of Tunisia and the European Commission to establish "a stronger operational partnership" in the fight against migrant smuggling.
This comes the day after Interior Commissioner Ylva Johansson's visit to Tunis.  Too many people are manipulated and robbed with the excuse of landing in the West.  Only in the context of regular flows and desired by States with work contracts, migrants must be invited.
