Somalia: Unity and Courage Against Terrorism

Somalia has recently witnessed a moment of great significance in the district of Ceeldheer, where the National Army, supported by the Local Defence Forces (LDF) and guided by community leaders, achieved a major victory against Al-Shabaab.

In an official statement, Hon. Abdirizaq Xusul, Member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia and Member of the World Organization of States – International Parliament for Safety and Peace (WOS-IPSP), expressed his deep gratitude to the armed forces, local defenders, and traditional leaders who made this success possible. He emphasized that this achievement demonstrates what unity can accomplish and how soldiers, communities, and national leadership have given renewed hope to the Somali people.

Hon. Xusul also extended his sincere appreciation to His Excellency President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud for his tireless leadership and unwavering commitment in guiding Somalia towards security and stability.
